Process Involved


The fibre is collected during the spring moulting season by combing it


The process involves removing impurities and guard hair by dusting and dehairing. during the process there is a lost of fibre and only about 35% in pashmina, 35 to 40 % in camel and yak wool and 65 % in sheep wool is left to make final product


The clean fibre is then spun and converted into Yarns. the spun yarn is then doubled and twisted on the had reeler as per yarn count

weaving and knitting

The yarns are separated for wrap and weft. its arrenged and fixed in the loom depending on the design and takes around minimum of 15 to 20 labour days from fibre to fabric. for knitted products it takes around3 to 7 labour days depending on the size of the product.
